Dear Beverly Mineo,
I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for your wonderful operation and to rave about your employees in the Windsor office.
To provide a brief summary, my sister and I use your services for daily care of our father who is not only blind, but also suffers from early dementia. In addition, our father is quite the character and can be challenging at times! Due to the blindness, dad is most secure in his own home. It is our goal (my sister and I) to keep dad in his home as long as possible. Fortunately for us, Maria Mobley matched us with an amazing home care aid named Megan Hurst. Megan is very patient, chats with dad, keeps his house orderly and prepares meals. As a result of Megan’s care, both my sister and I have noticed that our father’s mental acuity has improved. Prior to Megan’s care he struggled to know what day or time it was, dad is now aware of the day of the week, time of day and is remembering to eat. He is more active and truly seems to look forward to each day! Megan is truly a special person and you are fortunate to have her in your employment.
Concerning Maria, unlike the home health agency that I was using prior to yours, Maria does an excellent job keeping both my sister and I informed of any schedule changes. In fact, when Windsor had the recent floods & storms, Maria made it a priority call both my sister and I to advise that Megan could not come to work one day. While this may seem like a routine item to you, the previous agency we utilized NEVER advised us if the aid had a change in schedule. Instead they would call my father, who would promptly forget and then sit alone all day waiting. It was after your competitor failed to provide any consistent home care for almost 2 weeks that I decided to try your organization AND I’m so glad I did.
Beverly, you should be very proud of the organization that you’ve built. “Quality” is certainly the perfect name for your agency, as that is what your staff provides.
Many thanks to you and your team for improving the quality of my father’s life and helping to lighten the burden for my sister & I.
Sincerely,
Joanna S. Kires
